I was lucky enough to be in Sweden to experience their Midsommar celebrations - their biggest/most festive public holiday of the year. Great company, food and drinks, quad-pulled trailer-rides, my bad attempts to sing traditional Swedish songs, raising the Midsommar pole then dancing around it like some sort of freak frog...great fun - especially after some drinks! I'm pretty sure even the kids are allowed to get drunk this day...a bit of liquid courage helps a lot in losing inhibitions!
The first pic was taken just before 1:00am, Midsommar' Eve. Its definitely taking some getting used to how light it is here at night time in the summer!
